Yo. Wudup from Williamsburg Brooklyn New York.
Peace to my west coast family. New york is off
the heezee. I got one half-hour on the email thing
here at a microchip cafe. I could write all day
about the folks I've been meeting and the music
has been hella fun... a six foot beautiful woman
just took the computer next to me with a glass
of chilled white wine... she's got some big purse
there. She's digging through it and nearly stuck
her head in, and came out with nothing. She looked
at me and saw me looking and we laughed.
Speaking of nothing...
I am a bit confused. Life is beautiful and I see
greed and weeping sadness and Iraq, no Iran, no
Korea, no it's Liberia up next on the galley while
my nephew walks for the first time. I witness
my tax-dollars going to government shot callers
to whip some good butt in global affairs and stir
up more trouble by yanking funds for our children
locally while globally taking down any barrier
to more control, profit, ??security,?? and global
stability. Bush's granddaddy, Prescott Bush, was
a Nazi financier and had lots of ??old?? money
from slavery. I wonder how the Bush paternal line
has changed ideological platforms? In other words,
these folks invest in violence. To hear my rebuttal

The Sextet rocked Frisco's Boom Boom Room and
the headline at Blake's (wuddup Pablo Soto, local
Cuban percussionist and illuminator who sat in
and ripped it at Blake's!) And then the High Sierra
Festival yo!!! Folks were buggin out. It was dope.
The last show percussionists from New York's Antibalas
sat in with us and the fiddle player from the
Bay Area's Hot Buttered Rum Band. I know, fantazable.
And now I'm out here ready to rock it with a mix
of East Coast and West Coast players. The vibe
has been straight love in rehearsals. A lot of
work but it is bubbly. Yum.
Yo, peace out to all family and all tribes across
all lands. Bare witness to yaself baring witness.
